Surah Al-Kafirun (Arabic: سورة Al-Kafirun, "The Disbelievers") is the 109 chapter (surah) of the Qur'an, containing 6 verses (ayahs). It is classified as a Meccan Surah, meaning it is historically understood to have been revealed during the Meccan Period (610–622 CE) of the prophecy.

Text and Translation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
Verse 109:1
قُلۡ يٰ٘اَيُّهَا الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَۙ‏
qul yāayyuhā l-kāfirūna
Say, "O disbelievers
Verse 109:2
لَا٘ اَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ‏
lā aʿbudu mā taʿbudūna
I do not worship what you worship
Verse 109:3
وَلَا٘ اَنۡتُمۡ عٰبِدُوۡنَ مَا٘ اَعۡبُدُۚ‏
walā antum ʿābidūna mā aʿbudu
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship
Verse 109:4
وَلَا٘ اَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدۡتُّمۡۙ‏
walā anā ʿābidun mā ʿabadttum
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship

وَلَا٘ اَنۡتُمۡ عٰبِدُوۡنَ مَا٘ اَعۡبُدُؕ‏
walā antum ʿābidūna mā aʿbudu
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship
Verse 109:6
لَكُمۡ دِيۡنُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِيۡنِࣖ‏
lakum dīnukum waliya dīni
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion
