Surah Al-Fil (Arabic: سورة Al-Fil, "The Elephant") is the 105 chapter (surah) of the Qur'an, containing 5 verses (ayahs). It is classified as a Meccan Surah, meaning it is historically understood to have been revealed during the Meccan Period (610–622 CE) of the prophecy.

Text and Translation
Verse 105:1
اَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصۡحٰبِ الۡفِيۡلِؕ
alam tara kayfa faʿala rabbuka bi-aṣḥābi l-fīli
Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant
Verse 105:2
اَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِيۡ تَضۡلِيۡلٍۙ
alam yajʿal kaydahum fī taḍlīlin
Did He not make their plan into misguidance
Verse 105:3
وَّاَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا اَبَابِيۡلَۙ
wa-arsala ʿalayhim ṭayran abābīla
And He sent against them birds in flocks
Verse 105:4
تَرۡمِيۡهِمۡ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنۡ سِجِّيۡلٍۙ
tarmīhim biḥijāratin min sijjīlin
Striking them with stones of hard clay
Verse 105:5
فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٍ مَّاۡكُوۡلٍࣖ
fajaʿalahum kaʿaṣfin makūlin
And He made them like eaten straw
