Surah Al-'Asr (Arabic: سورة Al-'Asr, "The Declining Day") is the 103 chapter (surah) of the Qur'an, containing 3 verses (ayahs). It is classified as a Meccan Surah, meaning it is historically understood to have been revealed during the Meccan Period (610–622 CE) of the prophecy.

Verse 103:1
وَالۡعَصۡرِۙ
wal-ʿaṣri
By time
Verse 103:2
اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لَفِيۡ خُسۡرٍۙ
inna l-insāna lafī khus'rin
Indeed, mankind is in loss
Verse 103:3
اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡحَقِّ ۙ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِࣖ
illā alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti watawāṣaw bil-ḥaqi watawāṣaw bil-ṣabri
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience
